Adam -  I had both of my knees replaced two and half years ago and 
it's the best thing I ever did.  I just turned 60 a couple of weeks 
ago.  The new knees are so much better than my old ones.  I never 
have any knee pain.   I did get in shape with lots of physical 
therapy before and after the surgery.  I was in the hospital a week, 
back at the Y in three weeks, and climbing mountains in Guatemala 2 
months after I got my new knees.  My surgeon was the best and only 
does knee and hip replacements. I hope your experience will be as 
good.  If I can answer any questions, I'd be glad to try.
