All,

Thanks for the benefit of your suggestions and  your experience with  
surgical photography.

A little more info:  the procedure is some type of "open heart"  
procedure; the patient is a 3 yr old child; the client is the  
hospital's foundation's magazine.  The shoot has been postponed due  
to the patient getting a cold.  I will let you know how it goes  
whenever it goes.
