Sorry, Steve, no I don't know. But I do have a dim recollection of it.

It would be nice if we could use some creative thinking and come up
with a similar project, bypassing the known pitfalls.

Maybe we could have a virtual camera, each member gets a week (or
signs up for a week) and is responsible for populating a gallery with
x number of local shots from that week? Something that wouldn't
exclude the digital users or the SLR users or the rangefinder users.

Then each member would send a letter with the lovliest stamps from his
or her country to the next member on the list :-)
