Richard,
Sorry mate there's only one clean eye, the doctor's right eye is cut in half
and completely spoils the dramatic moment that could've been perfect. In
this kind of picture when it is about eyes and concentration there can't be
any half eyed people! Period! And certainly no excuses for blown highlights!

However by being posted it's allowed a bunch of people to maybe learn
something about the value of having eyes recorded perfectly for impact.

Oh heavens, now I know there'll be all kinds of one eyed pictures posted
trying to prove me wrong!Forget it people, you'll only be wasting your time
and mine. Best bet before you want to argue with me?

Look at the medical books "Doctor's Work. The Legacy of Sir William Osler."
& "Women in Medicine. A Celebration of their Work." Or if you can find it
used, the beautiful B&W coffee table size first edition, "This is Our Work.
The Legacy of Sir William Osler."

Then you'll see what light-eyes-action is all about on the firing line of
life and not in some studio lighting people controlled situation. Hey and
they're an excellent read and not just for medical people. ;-)
