Whatever ............ it means you can shoot very close and have enormous depth of field. Reputed to be the closest non-fisheye full frame lens ............. also to couple with, I think, a Canon D5 ............ via various adapters! The basic lens price sits around $600 + $60 for the adapter to M. So, stocking stuffer........... Happy dreaming, B.
