Gl?hwein is something akin to Mulled Wine, hot and spiced, then there's Gl?hwein mit Schu?, (literally with a shot - usually of 54% Rum) which is deadly. The group in the foreground is eating Schmalzkuchen, like tiny pyramidal doughnuts deep frie in oil and dusted with powdered sugar. http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_0754_copy_edited_1 Another shot, only a little Christmassy - Many bargees will be spending Christmas somewhere between Rotterdam and Berlin, or even far into Poland and the Czech Republic. This Dutchman has already put typical Chritmas lights in his windows - I quite like the name of his barge too. http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3341 Douglas bill harting wrote: > Thanks, Ted ...
