To All:

A word of warning about the Leica mfg'd range finder filter. Make sure you
purchase the correct one as they were made in two sizes. I have a III and a
IIIf and they are NOT interchangeable! The codes are OKARO and ORAKO (though
I don't recall which is which). Best to measure the outside diameter of the
window to assure a good fit.

The filters do greatly improve focusibility in low-light situations, and,
stangely, the filter works better to my eyes on the other window on my III.
No idea why.

Finally, though these filters are friction-fitted, I recommend a TINY drop
of epoxy to keep them in place, as they are quite pricey--- in excess of USD
60.00 on the famous auction site.

Cheers to y'all

Dave Kimes
