Subject: [Leica] Marblehead Light

Both taken with my M3 and a 1970's era 28mm Elmarit on BW400CN. .

The first is definitely not from the shadow side but I think enough
of the curvature of the tower is revealed for the photo to be
interesting. The sun was directly behind me and just about to set
when I made the shot. Minor tilts, perspective corrections and level
adjustments done in Photoshop. I had to tilt the camera up a bit to
get the entire Light in from this location. Another step back and
I'd have been swimming. Also removed a few heads and torsos that
popped up behind the rocks. Despite the chilly late-November
afternoon the grounds were quite crowded. I wanted the photos to
evoke the ruggedness and desolation that typifies the New England
coast in winter.

Alternate, and a bit more from the shadow side.
