What is going against the D2 is fairly high noise level at ISO 400, a controversial EFV, and a relatively high price. Prints I have seen up to 16X20 at an ISO of 100 have been quite good. Only you can tell if the combination of features versus what else is out there makes sense for you. As a picture taking machine it is still up there in ability. 0.02 Don don.dory@gmail.com On 11/26/05, Robert Meier <robertmeier@usjet.net> wrote: > > > The Canon Powershot G6 has an f2 lens (as do the G5 and G3), which is > supposed to be a very good lens. > > > > Is the Digilux-2 still a contender, now 2+ years after it was > introduced? > > What makes me want to own one is the f/2 lens, unheard except in DSLRs. > I > > read somewhere that the EVF is not so good, and the noise correction is > a > > problem.
