The old woman was smiling, but not expressly to me, she was laughing at the group, on this moment, she moves his head to other people who was looking too, and this was the moment to shot. I have no more installed my darkroom at home, but no problem to print. HOWEVER I think that of the bunch that you upload this one is better than ** either ** of the above: http://www.leica-gallery.net/lr-photo/image-88955.html It has that special timeless something, her expression - you can't say whether she is smiling at you or laughing at the group in the background (what WAS going on?), then the group themselves especially the expression on the one nearest the camera in fact they all have very different expressions and interestingly so. So that makes it hands-down winner for me. I'd quite like a print of it! in some ways it reminds me of some of the pictures taken by Lartigue and HCB.
