This past weekend, I attended an "opening" of a new and different art park. At the end of the guided tour there was a Q&A. There were 4 professional photographers present, one with SLR film gear, the other 3 with new digital SLR gear. The Q&A was in a tent, at sundown, with very poor lighting. I shot with a IIIf, Summicron 50, at VERY slow speeds, got some great shots, and 2 of the photographers came over to talk to me about the Leica, how quiet it was, and they wouldn't have known I was shooting if they hadn't been looking in my direction. (They didn't shoot because the director of the art park had asked that there be no flash photography during the Q&A.) The folks sitting right next to me didn't know I was shooting, and the Q&A was not disturbed. Ken ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - The Rev.
