Subject: [Leica] Canon 5D and long lenses

Doug Herr was asking how the 5D coped with long Leica R lenses. The
longest I have is a 250 Telyt and there are some test shots (and very
boring they are too ;-) here..

I took shots at f4 and f8 and have 100% enlargements of the edge and
centre of each image.

I think I missed the focus slightly which is perhaps more apparent in
the f8 shot. I really ought to repeat the experiment with a more
detailed subject. I'll try and do that next weekend.
