For sale are more than 260 lots from a single collection that belonged to founder of the German Leica Historica Society Willy Hahne who died in 1998. The gems include a Leica M6J estimated to fetch up to ?5,000 ? one of 1,640 such models made to mark the 40th anniversary of the Leica M system. However, there will also be a host of more affordable models including a Leica IIIa with 50mm Leitz Summar f/2 lens estimated at ?120-180 and an M4-P model with Leitz Summicron-M 35mm f/2 optic in a kit expected to go for ?400-600. Many lenses and Leica accessories will also be for sale will be. Hahne's collection also includes Nikon gear such as an F2 (?200-400) and kit made by Canon, Contax Olympus and Minolta. Viewing takes place on 12 and 13 November from 10am-4pm; on 14 November 9.00am-7.30pm and on 15 November 9.00am-10.00am.
