It's kind of a very funky survivalist store. But a viable "outdoor" store. For people who actually find themselves having to go outdoors. Obviously they don't live in LA or Phoenix Arizona. There was "street" people in there getting stuff that they needed. People who never come "inside" I guess. Lots of affordable intensely useful stuff. But lots of scary stuff like big knives that would be only good for killing people one would think. No guns though I don't think which suits me. But just an amazing amount of very cool stuff that you are not going to see anywhere else. Even if you are not a sniper or a serial killer. But then again I used to refer to "Banana Republic" more when it was a catalog entity as "The Sniper Store". Andy & Bax has a slew of vests and pouches to put camera gear in which seem better than any real photo gear it looks like to me. There was a special canvas case thing to hold three individual hand grenades for a few bucks. Totally unusable for photography though. A great photo source. Even if you were not a photographer doing a landing with the Marines. But just trying to keep your head above water. Mark Rabiner Photography Portland Oregon http://rabinergroup.com/
