I took my wife's kitchen scale and weighed each of them, in the case of the EOS, it was a 1D MK II. I assume the 1Ds Mk II and 1D Mk II are similar in weight. The R9 DMR, was about 1.39 kg. The EOS 1D Mk II was 1.6 kg. On the pricing, you are missing the rebates on the Leica, and I don't think B&H has the cheapest price on them.
