Hi Jim,

I bought a R800 a few months ago but only started using it recently. 
With the Epson papers I have not seen any of the effects you mention. I 
am very wary of any aftermarket papers for this reason.

With my Epson 1160, which is dedicated to B&W using MIS inks, it is a 
different story. But my R800 is fed exclusively with Epson paper.
