Not a whole lot ... this is how it looks at this very moment. http://www.dlridings.com/temp/DSC_2883.jpg http://www.dlridings.com/temp/DSC_2884.jpg I number rolls sequentially, by binder: 10.1 10.2 10.3 etc. Binder 10, roll 1 2 3 Each sheet is marked with year and week (2005 v37 for this week) Notes are jotted on the paper part of the negative sheets. I always carry a little pocket notebook where I write notes, keyed to the roll number. Scans are named by year, week and then sequentially. Sometimes I forget to raise the week number. I let ACDSee catalogue my scans, both raw scans and processed scans. It takes a while for the raw scans, but once you've done it, it doesn't take very long to add new ones to the catalogue. I get the kids to do contact sheets at 5 crowns a shot (they're getting wise ... I'll probably have to raise the price). It works. I had everything at my fingertips when it was time to pull out 80 pictures for the exhibit I have now (open house between 15.00 and 17.30 today if anyone wants to come :-) ) Need an assistant.
