The users of Leica lenses, myself, have two different options when
deciding stepping to digital world. First one is to remain thinking that
in present and in future Leica will be a leader of excellence in digital
world as they have seen in the past, and if facts do not support this
way of thinking convince themselves that this is true -any sort of I can
live without that or this...or everything is worse but color or dynamic
range or whatever you wish is a much better feature and is that really
counts for me. Second one is to think that Leica is far behind in this
race but my brand loyalty is so important, my lens stock is so big than
I'll live with the digital material Leica launched as otherwise the
financial consideration of a total switch drives me to bankruptcy.

I'm a happy user of Leica material -three bodies and eleven lenses- but
I haven't got any loyalty sentiment so after a deep try of the DMR I'll
take my decision.

BTW Feli I use in my EOS DSLR, if I wish, F1, F1.2 and F1.4 lenses at
3200 ASA with so scarce noise that I cannot really see your
point...unless ;-)

Felix
