Subject: [Leica] Nikon Scanner problem

Hello all,
I'm scanning slides with a Nikon Coolscan V ED. When I switch off 
digital DEE I get incomplete scans, about a 1/4 inch of the slide only.
Anyone else had a similar problem? Anyone a remedy?
