I have been using a Minolta IIIF which is a relatively old flash. Incident, reflecive, flash, not so large, flat package that fits in a pocket or small slot in a bag. Very accurate, easy to use, memory function to determine contrast ratio's, and a whole host of accessories available to make it into whatever light measuring device you want. The replacement IVF is even smaller. I have also picked up a Luna Pro sbc. I use it for when I know I will be in really low light. It measures down to eight hours. Relatively large for current meters but extremely accurate. Like the six, you see at a glance all of your shutter and aperture options and it makes it easy to place values up or down if you want the scene to look different than you see it. With that said, go to a well stocked store and find the combination of size, accuracy, and battery choice or no battery(the sekonic studio is a incident meter that still uses selenium cells) that floats your boat. Any of the meters out there in the last twenty years from a known name will give you great results.
