Interestingly my R8 works fine with my motor drive but not the DMR.
My R8 is a third generation model (out of possible 4 generations).

Next question - will I keep the motor drive? I think not.
After attaching the DMR, my gut tells me that my R8 will NEVER see film
again.

Wouldn't it be swell if Leica could fast track a dedicated DSLR with
16-22 megapixels. Bigger buffer and faster write speeds would be a
huge plus. The DMR is S-L-O-W.

R10 anyone?
