I have one that I'm sure must be the same, but mine has been rebadged
as an Eddie Bauer table-top tripod. One of my kids gave it to me for
Christmas. It works fine when I remember to use it, but what I
usually do is find something nearby to prop my camera on. That's
much faster and more convenient than finding the mini-tripod in my
bag and screwing the camera into the mount. Usually by the time I've
done all that, the picture has disappeared. I just look around and
find a napkin holder or trash can or my own backpack and contort the
platform to match what I want to photograph. Use what is nearby and
forget the tripods unless you are photographing peeling paint or
landscapes. In those cases, you would want a large tripod anyway.
