Subject: [Leica] Ted Grant--Photographing the "Shadow Side"
From: mail at steveunsworth.co.uk (Steve Unsworth)

If you're shooting from the dark side the light is the far side of the
subject, i.e. the subject is between the light and the photographer.

You'd be shooting from the light side if it was _you_ that was between
the light and the subject - i.e. the light was behind you.

NO, that would be shooting from the light side! It's not rocket science
-
you shoot from the dark side, so there is more texture, tones and mood
etc.
