Subject: [Leica] What happens with b&w C-41 scanned @ Costco 1hr lab?

I'm new to the world of digital scanning, and am
wondering what happens when I take my c-41 B&W film to
a Costco 1hr lab. Are they scanning it using only one
colour channel? I don't plan on getting the Sepia
prints on colour paper, just a CD. I do plan on
getting my own Dimage scanner in the future, but for
now I have to live with 1hr labs. Your comments are
appreciated.
