If you are almost broke, and have a lot of inventory in stock and orders for that inventory, you act appropriately... you release the thing.... then fix any issues that appear. After all, it will take a while for the public to figure out the problems anyway, so you have some breathing space..... Personally I think Leica did the right thing. release now, before you go broke....... Most of this knowledge has come from Microsoft. Especially the stuff about broken SW and fixing it later....... It made me believe that Leica would have all the hardware for the pre-ordered DMRs, and then plug in the software.....
