i guess i was idly considering that the slr/c is one of exactly two 
full-frame bodies capable in some fashion of mounting a leica lens (R or V).
since i've heard kodak is orphaning the thing, and i am well aware of the 
contoversy surrounding all things kodak, you have to figure it has to
be cheap to the market... and anything is cheaper than the 8K canon.  
i was asking becuase i'd heard many people marrying leica and canons, but
never kodaks.

basically when it comes to electronics nowadays i tend towards the 
cheapest "box" that does the job--i figure if it last 2 years, it's made
the break-even point.

but it was just an idle thought.
