Subject: [Leica] Speaking of medium format, I've picked up a 1954 Rolleicord...

Insane??  The pros that shoot weddings and portraits have switched to
digital to be competitive, dumping a lot of really good equipment on the
market.  Then the Joe-Amateur has switched to digital, dumping his stuff as
well.   It is a field day for us that like to shoot film.....

Now if you want a big shock, price darkroom stuff.  Like 1/5 of what it was
a few years ago....  and the hard to find really good stuff comes up for
sale every year or so...

And youse guys with the digital cameras, trading them in every time a new
more megapixel camera comes out are selling your old cameras for pennies on
the dollar after 2 years of lilttle use.....

It is nice to be in film.....

You can find beautiful Hassie 50mm Distagons and 150mm Sonnars in local
camera stores in the NYC area for $700-$900 in excellent to mint condition.
This is insanity!
