Those are some strong genes, and they seem to break through when several breeds intermingle. My parents adopted an abandoned female Burmese who was already pregnant. Her litter was entirely gray tabby. And if you go to the San Diego zoo and look for the Scottish Wildcat, what you see is a shorter-haired Puff Mama with a really crappy personality.
