That power and volume used in the sense of "tuned way down".
Horowitz had his Steinway heavily modified to have a light sound.

For some reason I think of it like Davy Crockets rifle you see at the Alamo.
The most power coming from the most compact simplified low key unassuming
kit.
Very Leica like it seems to me.
