Subject: [Leica] Epson Perfection 4990 Scanner?

Anyone using this new scanner?
Seems a no brainer to upgrade from myUMAX 1120 scanner which scans at 1200 
DPI and has no ICE.

Is it REALLY scanning at 4800 x 9600 DPI? They claim it is..
Seems to good to be true at $449 !
