Like your... Your... Your LEICA SF 20 FLASH UNIT!!! Or your RIGHT-ANGLE FINDER! "For pictures taken from any position ? be they pictures taken inconspicuously ?around the corner? or pictures taken from a worm?s eye perspective, looking into the finder from above. The viewfinder image can be switched to a 2 x magnification." Now try shooting ?around the corner? with a Canon EOS or Rebel! I bet Canon using War photographers would love that! Gets rid of those unsightly bullet holes! And also your TELESCOPE OCULAR LEICA TO-R!? "With this ocular, Leica standard-, telephoto- or zoom lenses can quickly be converted into telescopes with different focal lengths. In combination with a 90 mm lens, it produces a magnification of 7.2 x ; with a 180 mm lens it creates a 14.4 x magnification. Focusing is performed with the lens? focusing mount." (Taken from the Leica site of course) Try using your Canon lenses as a telescope! They're going to make you put it on a Camera body and take pictures EVERY SINGE TIME! Hate to stretch it. But if your main camera has been and R8/9 for SLR stuff. Maybe your not a rangefinder guy/gal at all... And maybe your main thing is film but every once in a while you need to capture some pixies on the fly..... ...Then you are still holding the camera you are basically accustomed to using all the time in your hands. Sure it's to a large extent a whole different ball game with all that digital stuff on the back... But you don't have to Grok the whole Canon mindset which is a whole thing onto itself. Sherlock Holms says there are only so many mindsets per customer then your head explodes. That's been later proven... I wouldn't mind NOT getting into Canon if I can avoid it. You end up just getting their glass it's just too convenient. And wearing one of their baseball hats and belt buckles. I guess you don't have to keep holding that stop down button down all the time with a Leica R body with digital back pack. Plus it focuses when you just look at something. By insidiously shooting "laser" beams into your eyeballs. How charming! I don't NEED AutoFocus! I AM AutoFocus! Mark Focus Photography Portland Oregon http://rabinergroup.com/
