Hi Don,
Now yer cookin' and I feel this is one of the best of your flower
pictures 
to date! :-)

It's the clean single flower at the bottom that sorts this out from the 
others with "busy backgrounds" of other flowers.  Even in this case I'd
have 
nipped off the couple toward the lower right corner leaving the single
one 
sharp and clean, yet slowly going out of focus to the top as shown.

Yeah I know some folks are going to say that's cheating, nipping a
couple 
out of the way, but heck it's done all the time and if it makes a major 
improvement to the photo why not nip it?
