Leica's market is the pro and advanced amateur. Almost non of the pros I know who still have Leicas have used them at all in the couple of years - they are gathering dust , great lenses or no. Even more have sold them all off because of lack of use (a few have kept one body and a couple of lenses for nostalgias sake). It really isn't a pro camera any more. At least not one used by pros. These were all photographers who, five years ago, even if their mainstay was a Nikon system, always had an M or two and a handful of lenses for certain circumstance. In fact it also includes a number who used M's (and some R's) for most of their work and only used their Nikon's or Canon's when they had to. Now, they are all pro-digital. tim a
