When our first born came on the scene we went twenty-two months - 22 MONTHS - without him once sleeping through the night. And the more time passed,the more frequently he was up at night - toward the end he was up about every 45 minutes. Things got so bad that one day I fell asleep on my typewriter at the Washington Post - the City Editor literally shook me awake and sent me home. :-) But don't let me scare you...
