Ah, you may ask, Why? I don't know. I know that they work with my 10D and 1Ds and also work with film. I sorta Googled around and discovered that most requirements for circular polarization come because of tthe viewfinder optics. So I guess I just rambled along and now can't explain what you have experienced.
