Subject: [Leica] Photo request

Dear LUGgers,

This might seem a strange request.

As some of you might know, I'm a senior art director in an ad agency in
Belgium.
I'm working on a pitch ATM, for an insurance company.

Typical thing for this company is that they, since of socialist origin,
still apply the true solidarity principle. Meaning that they share their
revenues not with their shareholders, but with their customers.

The campaign is explaining this, with a first instore billboard telling the
story of solidarity in full. It's a story about truth, honesty, openness,
participation and, ofcourse, solidarity. This might seem pass? for these
times, but in fact is coming back in full force again (due to the harsh
times ruling ATM).

That's why I'm looking for documentary/reportage style B&W pictures showing
all this, especially for a theme called friendship and togetherness: a group
of at least 2 adolescent to adult people radiating the emotions mentioned
above. I'm not looking for the typical fake happiness stockshot style
images.
I've been looking for this kind of images for a few days now (at Magnum,
agence Vu, some specialised stock agencies ...) but haven't found what I'm
looking for.

So I was thinking: what better place than to ask for this than at the LUG?

Good example of look and feel I'm searching for are IMO Aaron Sandler's
Hoola Hoop pictures.

Image(s) will be used for presentation purposes only, and if chosen for
realisation, it speaks for itself that normal (Belgian, thus a market of
-for US standards tiny- 10 mil customers) advertising rates will be applied.

Please contact me offlist if interested, and if possible with some images
that you think would suit this. I would need them by the end of this week at
the latest.

Thanks in advance,
Philippe
