I just read a book called "Dixie" by journalist Curtis Wilkie that describes covering the civil rights movement. Excellent, and highly recommended. There's also a good documentry film about Viola Liuzzo, the Michigan woman killed in 1964 in Selma. Thanks again for your comments.
