Longer version... Last week, Meredith Monk--composer,
singer, performance artist, Guggenheim and MacArthur
winner--was in town.
She and members of her vocal ensemble conducted a
masterclass with University of Virginia's University

Saturday evening, Monk and her singers gave a concert,
