Whether you like the picture or not isn't really the point. First, I wasn't trying in any way to insult Don. Second, as I said, I do like the image. But there is more than a bit of the bizarre and grotesque about it - and that may be the very thing that appeals to me. And as I said, I can see even through the strange image that his daughter is an attractive young lady. Had SHE, rather than the image, appeared to be grotesque, I certainly wouldn't have commented. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Brian Reid Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2005 7:35 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] Don's PAW > but this photo makes her look > quite grotesque. What this most reminds me of is the Diane Arbus B.D., the picture of me that you have in your gallery is, by a country mile, the most grotesque picture of me ever taken. I remember that someone said I looked like a child molester (I banished him from the LUG for that comment, but he deserved banishment for other reasons). http://www.pbase.com/kididdoc/image/28250486 _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
