The current SD series of Canon elph models is quite good. Sturdy,
small, and finally, quick. Made in 3, 4 and 5mp sizes. Battery life
is not great (where would you put a big battery???) and the tiny
optics show some colour fringing, but otherwise it's quite good.
There are some other nice cameras, but some don't have _any_ optical
viewfinder, which can make them a pain to use in bright light, and
most are slow or have flimsy parts.
