One interesting factoid about the ZI is that apparently Zeiss original proposed design of the face (the front) has no hard edges: the edges were round, as were the apron. After 8 months, Cosina finally won the argument with the current look. Another factoid is that "almost no parts of the Bessa-series camera" is used.
