your psychology is excellent - ignore it - you wrote.
For me it's one of those strange pictures where you have to keep taking 
another 
look. At the first look it all seems to be out of scale, as if the sizes of 
the 
people in the background are increasing with distance, quite disturbing.
Then again the hatted person, you start asking yourself, tired?, sad?, has 
she 
received or just written the note? is she crying? after all her glasses are 
on 
the table. Is it her coffee mug, or has someone just left?
A very catching picture - I like it.
