The Spain trips were in connection with work, but I have fallen in love with the country and will keep going back. The Liverpool connection is like this: when I was a child/teenager in Denmark in the 1970s, the Danish league was pretty awful. There were no professional clubs, so all the good players went abroad as soon as they could. On the other hand, Danish TV showed matches from England every Saturday, so most of us supported one of the English teams, mostly Liverpool, Manchester United or Arsenal, with a few deviants supporting someone else. I personally adopted Liverpool because I liked the spirit of the team, the great players like Kevin Keegan and Kenny Dalglish (and many others), and because of the Beatles. So there you have it.
