Certainly do. That was a victory of enthusiasm over knowledge if ever 
there was one. Even today getting the amount of electronics needed into 
the volume of a 35mm cassette is not feasible. By the time it is, it 
would be my guess that there will be few people still making film 
cameras to put it in, and users of film cameras will be using film 
'cause they want too and will want to keep using their film cameras for 
film.
That even ignoring the fact that a simple unit was only feasible if all 
cameras had the same distance from cassette well to film gate, which 
they don't.
