contrast I just screwed up the image in Photoshop. I'll have fixed it by
now. Take another look.

I very much like the primary image, Chris. In fact I really want to
see a larger version - I think there's a lot there that's only hinted
at.
The 2nd image lacks contrast to my eye and isn't nearly as strong as
your primary.
