instead of Slavich (which I think is what it's called now) as the Russian
coater of film.  Some of these have recently gone bankrupt.

Yes, but in name only.  The current Adox films are re-labelled Efke.  The
brand name is owned by Fotoimpex in Germany.  Since Efke bought the coating
plant and produce from original Adox formulas, it's largely semantic, but
nonetheless, if Efke goes bust, so will 'Adox'.  Again.
