The picture with the mirrors in the Reichstag rotunda falls in the former category, that place is a gold mine for photographers. I was there in early January and could have spent the whole day there. But a general comment: you make the comment that you have not edited these and therefore "no whining". On other occasions, other people have announced new galleries with similar caveats, or something to the effect, "I know the scans are crap, I will fix them later". So my "whining" below is addressed not just to you, but are meant more generally. I feel that when you post pictures on a web site with a world-wide audience, you are doing yourself a disservice by not editing or by posting what you know in advance are inferior images. What is the point? If you do not have time to edit or to scan well now, then wait and post the shots after you have taken the time to do so. I do not claim to be the master photographer and even less the master editor. But when I select images for public display, like my own Berlin gallery from January: http://www.nathanfoto.com/indexberlin.html I try to make the photos the best I can make them, and I edit carefully, in two stages--I make an initial selection, sleep on it, look at them again the next day and finally put the gallery together. Even at that last minute stage, I often remove images that I am not sure should be included (when in doubt, don't include). The end result may still not be up to the standard of the masters here, but at least I know that I have tried to do the best I can with the material at hand. I would encourage everyone to edit, and edit again, before posting images; and to do the best you can and then let the chips fall where they may. Otherwise you will not improve your photography, and will miss out on one of the major benefits of being on this list.
