Ted,
Thank you for the look. Yes, I have had Feininger's images (Life
Magazine) of Manhattan in my mind for a long time. At the time he used
a 1200mm lens from a view camera on a 35mm to shoot Manhattan from New
Jersey; they were truly striking images.

Hi Don,
The contrasts create a powerful photograph with a kind of ominous
feeling as
though the city is being "walled in." I re-call work similar to this I
believe in LIFE many years ago of New York? Or other major American
city.

It's strength is it's simplicity without clutter. A clean and in your
face
photograph.

Another point you may not have thought of. It's perfect for a magazine
cover
with the open space upper left & side where magazine title and story
details
could be inserted. Maybe you've a possible sale to a publishing house or

other interested party down your way some day.

Good on you.
ted
