Is there I site where we can view your work. As a long-time jazz shooter it would be of interest. Gerry Gerry Walden LRPS www.gwpics.com <http://www.gwpics.com> Tel: +44 (0)23 8046 3076 -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+gwpics=lycos.co.uk@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+gwpics=lycos.co.uk@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of John Mason Sent: 30 January 2005 20:09 To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] John's Leica Jazz Photo Show The Igbo have a proverb that goes something like this: The lizard that jumped from the high tree to the ground said that he would praise himself if no one else did. My exhibit, Jazz at UVA, a collection of photos that I've made over the last several years at rehearsals and concerts, opens on Monday, 31 January, at Take It Away, 115 Elliewood Avenue, Charlottesville, Virginia. There's a reception this Friday from 5 to 7. Y'all come. Those of you not in hollering distance of Charlottesville can see a few of the images here: http://www.virginia.edu/music/jazzatuva/ Full disclosure... The Leica shots make up about a third of the exhibit. The rest is Nikon. (Still looking for an 80-200/2.8 and a 300/2.8 that don't look silly on my M2.) ;-) --John Mason __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Easier than ever with enhanced search.
