The IWC Portugueser is actually a pocket turned wrist watch - therefore not originally designed to take the rough and tough of wrist movements when it is supposed to reside snugly in a gentleman's pocket. Mine has the 3133 clockwork with 23 jewels - thats a former Valjoux calibre (they bought the whole tooling machine from ETA, in the seventies). But it's similar than with russian lenses - low quality control - russian roulette... Regards Didier >The Poljot is a pin lever watch ( ie less jewels ) but no less >efficient >Joseph Low _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
